Included are artworks that have been inspired by Science. Made in Adobe Illustrator and Blender 3D, these pieces are an attempt to bridge the gap between Art and Science
The Identity of a Genetic Disorder

Each of one's features come from nothing but a genetic code. In this piece of art, a person is looking at their own gene sequence (random sequence used for artistic purposes only) through a mirror made of DNA. They see a genetic mutation in the nucleotides highlighted in red, which leads to a genetic disorder that is also a part of their identity. The said person is looking directly in the eye of the nucleotides, which are bold red and scream danger. Are those four nucleotides the person's identity?
Inspired by an extract from The Gene: An Intimate History by Siddhartha Mukherjee
DAPI Ghosts

Freehand drawing over an image taken on a confocal microscope (Zeiss Multiphoton)
The image shows DNA stained with DAPI. The nuclei here are in the anaphase in which chromosomes separate after duplication.
Power House of the Cell

A 3D representation of the mitochondria.
The mitochondria is responsible for making energy and is a double membraned organelle
SARS CoV2

An artistic rendition of the SARS CoV2 virus that caused the covid 19 pandemic
